construction and survey capability in ultra-deep
water, is the Triton® MRV; a true blend
of the very best innovative thinking that
inspired the Triton® and MRV® product
lines. Once again, advanced technologies
and great
engineering are combined to meet and exceed
the Industry’s expectations for ground
breaking subsea construction and survey
techniques well into the future.
-Sharing many
of the robust technical features of the
Triton® XLS, the Triton® MRV has
a higher load carrying capability of 3,250
kg, which can be further increased by making
use of the vehicle’s 7,000kg structural
load rating. Additional enhancements include
expanded electrical and software interfaces,
offering greater flexibility for the addition
of more sensors, cameras and survey/navigational
systems. As standard, the vehicle is equipped
with 100 HP of installed power driving 4
vertical and 4 large diameter vectored horizontal
thrusters. Other power management configurations
can be fitted as options.
-The vehicle
can be deployed using a Tether Management
System®, Garage or Powered Cage arrangement.
This provides the Triton® MRV with a
highly versatile excursion envelope. When
configured with the Powered Cage, which
shares the identical power and control systems
of the vehicle, the overall package is exceptionally
well configured for pipelaying and construction
support in ultra-deepwater.
