-The
Triton® XLS is the latest evolution
of the tried and true Triton® XL,
the world’s most successful high-end
workclass ROV, with 40 systems delivered
to all major ROV operating companies.
The new Triton® XLS incorporates more
thrust, more payload, and more space within
the vehicle frame for customer tooling.
A total of eight high performance 12”
thrusters (4 vertical and 4 horizontal)
provide symmetrical thrust in all directions.
With the highest standard payload of 350
KG wet weight (with standard equipment
and manipulators installed) and the largest
inside frame volume, the Triton® XLS
can carry more sensors and tooling than
ever before.
All components and controls are proven
Perry XL and ST designs with their inherent
reliability and endurance. The control
system features additional serial I/O
(8 channels, expandable to 16) and video
(8 channels) for more sensors and cameras
in a single canister design. The improved
TXLS power system features a total of
3 KVA for up to twelve 250 Watt lights
with additional customer DC and AC power
capacity.
-The 3,000
kg lifting capability of the Triton®
XLS provides the platform for a wide variety
of tooling modules, including the most
advanced pipeline connection tools and
trenching skids available today. The vehicle
is equipped with all the power delivery,
instrumentation and telemetry management
systems to support turnkey construction
operations in virtually any water depth.
-Worksite
delivery for the vehicle in deepwater
is normally via a Tether Management System®.
Again, this represents a product line
in which Perry Slingsby Systems leads
the market with over 150 systems delivered
to date.
We try
to provide the most up to date, recent
specifications on these ROV systems. However,
ROV system specifications are changing
all the time, so please double check with
the manufacturer to insure the specifications
are correct before making a decision in
using or purchasing these systems. |
