The SCORPION ROV system has proven to be successful in addressing the ROV market requirements for high powered hydraulic work ROVs in a smaller package. SCORPION’s small size, high power and control flexibility allows the client to effectively address a wide range of applications.

The vehicle is a highly reliable multi-task vehicle, designed to accomplish a complete range of demanding and complex subsea inspection and intervention tasks. Sonsub’s SCORPION features high quality ffbre optic video and data transmission, and a 180
meter tether management system providing uncompromised performance.

In addition, the use of a single HPU allows the overall size of the vehicle frame and foam block to be reduced resulting in a low profile, low resistance ROV package with excellent hydrodynamic characteristics.
