-The
Centurion has been developed from the
well-known Scorpio ROV, which has for
many years proved itself as the workhorse
of the world’s ROV fleet with exceptional
performance and reliability.
-Through
continual upgrade and modification, the
Centurion system has evolved with the
addition of larger power packs, high performance
thrusters and a second lateral and vertical
thruster giving increased power and manoeuvrability.
The addition of an optional Tether Management
System (TMS) further augments the abilities
of the Centurion.
-With either
a 100hp or 120hp hydraulic system, the
Centurion can undertake almost any work
task within the ROV sector including pipeline
inspection, construction support and drilling
assistance.
-The open
framework of the vehicle improves personnel
access for maintenance tasks and allows
for an extensive range of peripheral equipment,
including survey and inspection sensors
and remote intervention tooling equipment,
to be utilised. The frame has been designed
to cope with lifts of 2 tonnes @ 4g (equivalent
to 2.67 tonnes @ 3g).
