-The
Warrior workclass ROV system has been
designed and built using technology established
in Subsea 7’s highly successful
Clansman Drill Support ROV. The Warrior
has a 100hp hydraulic system, and together
with four axial and two vertical thrusters
the vehicle is highly manoeuvrable and
extremely proficient when operating in
high current conditions.
-The vehicle
benefits considerably through a reduction
in weight and physical size through the
efficient positioning of the basic control
systems, achieving a high power to weight
ratio and making the system ideal for
applications where deck space and/or loadings
may be limited.
-The Warrior
has been built to perform a large number
of underwater tasks, and with a through
frame lifting capacity of 2,800kg @ 4g
(equivalent to 3,733kg @ 3g) allows additional
tooling to be interfaced to the vehicle
as required. The vehicle is also fitted
with an impact resistant polyethylene
perimeter frame to minimise damage to
the primary frame.
